Mercury 75hp Outboard. Compression was even all cylinders appx 160 all 4. Unit shifts looks complete sat for years. Prop is siezed on and a piece of steering cable stuck in tilt tube. Good for parts repair rebuild. This unit may be tough to get apart so not for a novice tech. As is payment due within 24hrs of purchase.

Thus motor is electric start , manual trim. Can be pull started too but because it has a charging system must always be attached to a 12 v battery while running.
This listing is for a smooth running Mercury 135 HP Black MAX outboard engine. We are offering this engine at a discount since it has been in storage for years and will likely need some tlc prior to using it on the water. It starts easy and runs very well. The compression is perfect and within 5 psi on all 6 cylinders. It pumps plenty of water in shifts flawlessly but we always recommend a new water pump prior to going out on the water. This engine has power tilt trim. The engine does show some aging. Please note the steering tube has a hydraulic steering rod in it that may take some work to remove.

Item specifics
Part: 1997 JOHNSON VENOM 20" 200/250HP OUTBOARD MOTOR. The exhaust is ported on the boat of the midsection for increased HP (and probably a little racing louder :). Also have the newer OMC lightning racing gearcase. Engine should be pushing something like 250hp-ish with the ported exhaust and lightning lower unit.

Cowlings, upper and lower, have scratches, minor dents, dings, minor cracks, paint flake, discoloration etc... 25" Shaft. Lower unit shifts fine. Right hand standard rotation lower unit in good shape. Prop is included, it is in poor condition. No controls are included. Please come and inspect before purchasing. The engine is sold as is, you are welcome to have the engine surveyed anytime. I ship worldwide and I'm happy to provide shipping quotes.

This listing is for a clean and smooth running Yamaha 115 HP outboard engine. We are offering this engine at a discount since it has been in storage for years and will likely need a tune up prior to using it on the water. It starts easy and runs very well. The compression is perfect and within 5 psi on all 4 cylinders. It pumps plenty of water in shifts flawlessly but we always recommend a new water pump prior to going out on the water. This engine has never seen salt water and with a light sanding and coat of paint would look great. It comes complete as pictured. Please note it appears to be missing a linkage from the throttle to the stator. Power tilt trim works flawlessly!

We purchased it new and ended up only using it for one short voyage after which it was placed in storage. After replacing all of the fluids and putting new fuel and oil in the yanks she fired right up. we are confident that the new owner will get years of reliable usage from it.

Mercury 2014 40hp EFI four stroke outboard motor standard 20” inch shaft length model 40ELPT BF desirable and more expensive Big Foot model with electric start remote model with power tilt and trim.
Note: the motor alone is being sold in this auction. if needing controls contact us, we have controls and a prop for this motor in my possession. Motor was used on a pontoon boat.
Power tilt works good and lower unit is free of water and metal shavings. Compression of 180lbs between cylinders which is perfect for this model. Motor only has 309 hours which is very low when removed and was replaced with a new 60hp four stroke and is now available for purchase. Note: engine cover has a chip on the back plastic see photo, this does not affect anything but wanted it noted.
