  • Eligibility Window: You may request a return or exchange within 7 days or 14 days of the original delivery date of your order.

  • Condition of Item: All returned items must be in new, unused, and undamaged condition, in their original packaging, with all original parts, accessories, manuals, and documentation included. Engines that have been mounted, run, or had fuel/oil added are generally not eligible for return unless defective upon arrival.

  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase from Top1OutboardInboardSale.com is required for all returns.

  • Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 15-25% – be specific of the purchase price may apply to all eligible returns, unless the return is due to an error on our part or a confirmed manufacturer defect. This fee covers the costs associated with inspection, repackaging, and administrative processing.

  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including insurance, unless the return is due to an error on our part or a confirmed manufacturer defect.

2. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are generally NOT eligible for return or exchange:

  • Engines that have been installed, mounted, run, or had fluids (fuel, oil, etc.) added.

  • Engines showing signs of wear, damage, or improper handling not related to shipping.

  • Special order or customized items.

  • Any item not in its original, unopened packaging (where applicable) and original condition.

  • Items missing parts, accessories, manuals, or documentation.

  • Electrical components once packaging is opened or security seals are broken.

3. Return Proces

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Within the eligible return window, contact our customer service team at admin@top1outboardinboardsale.com or 62 838 9860 1495 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please provide your order number, the reason for the return, and any relevant photos or details.

  2. RMA Number: No returns will be accepted without a valid RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the return packaging.

  3. Packaging: Securely package the item in its original packaging, ensuring it is well-protected against shipping damage. Include all original parts, accessories, and documentation.

  4. Shipping: Ship the item to the address provided with your RMA number. We highly recommend using a reputable carrier that offers tracking and insurance for your return shipment, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.

  5. Inspection: Upon receipt, our team will inspect the returned item to ensure it meets the return eligibility criteria. This inspection process may take 3-5 business days.

4. Refunds

  • Once the returned item passes inspection, we will process your refund.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or credit card company's processing times.

  • The refund amount will be the purchase price of the item, minus any applicable restocking fees and original shipping charges.

5. Damaged or Defective Items Upon Arrival

  • Immediate Inspection: It is crucial to inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If you notice any visible damage to the packaging, document it with photos before opening.

  • Reporting Damage/Defects: If an engine arrives damaged or appears to be defective upon initial inspection before installation or use, you must notify us within 24-48 hours of delivery.

  • DO NOT Install/Use: Do not install, run, or add fluids to an engine that appears to be damaged or defective upon arrival, as this may void your claim.

  • We will work with you to arrange for a return, replacement, or repair as appropriate, at no additional cost to you. We may require photographic or video evidence of the damage/defect.

6. Warranty Claims

  • All new engines sold by Top1OutboardInboardSale.com are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, as determined by the manufacturer.

  • Our return policy applies to initial product condition. For issues that arise after an engine has been installed and used, or after the return window has closed, please refer to the manufacturer's warranty information included with your purchase. We can assist you in contacting the manufacturer for warranty claims.

7. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process for the original item and place a new order for the desired item.
